Following the successful implementation of the Erasmus+ youth exchange “Youth Forging Green Paths Together” (2025-3-LV02-KA152-YOU-000368450), we are continuing to reflect on the knowledge, skills, and experiences gained throughout the project.

The mobility took place in Riga from 30 March to 5 April 2026, bringing together 40 young people from Latvia, Türkiye, Italy, Greece, and Hungary. Throughout the week, participants explored environmental challenges through non-formal and experiential learning activities.

The project addressed topics including climate change, biodiversity, ecosystems, water conservation, ecological footprint, endangered species, and sustainable lifestyles. Rather than focusing solely on theoretical knowledge, participants were encouraged to discuss, analyse, create, collaborate, and reflect.

One of the important outcomes of the project was the development of participants' ability to connect global environmental challenges with their own communities and everyday lives. Through discussions and practical activities, young people explored how individual choices and collective action can contribute to environmental protection.

The project also supported the development of transversal competences. Communication, teamwork, critical thinking, creativity, intercultural understanding, and active participation were integrated into the learning process.

The reflection process following the mobility has shown that the project was not only an opportunity to learn about environmental issues, but also a space where young people could exchange perspectives, develop confidence, and build international connections.

As we continue our follow-up activities, we aim to encourage participants to transfer the knowledge and experiences gained in Riga to their local communities.
