About Us
Our Association has carried out and continues to implement various initiatives on sustainable and safe food, healthy nutrition, and climate change awareness. Some of our key activities include:
Reliable Food Consumption Seminar
With the rapid development of the food industry and the impact of the pandemic, awareness of food safety and healthy nutrition has become increasingly important. To address this need, we launched the online Reliable Food Consumption seminar series for participants of all ages. The seminars aim to promote food literacy, food safety awareness, healthy eating habits, hygiene, food preservation, microorganisms in food, food poisoning, and prevention methods. Through these activities, we seek to build a culture of safe food consumption and encourage healthier lifestyles from an early age.
Climate Change Youth Summit
Climate change continues to affect agriculture, food systems, biodiversity, and human health. To raise awareness among young people, we organized the online Climate Change: Green Meetings, creating a platform for discussion, idea exchange, and learning about environmental challenges. Started during the pandemic, these activities have continued and encourage young people to become active contributors to a more sustainable future.
Food Sector and Its Problems
This online discussion brought together food engineering students from different universities. Moderated by our founding members, the event focused on food safety, misinformation, sector challenges, and the importance of producer, consumer, and official inspections. The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer discussion, helping participants gain practical sector knowledge.
Health Sector and Nutrition Problems
In this discussion event, young people learned about the health sector, healthy nutrition, and common nutritional challenges. The activity aimed to improve participants' knowledge while supporting their personal and professional development.
These initiatives demonstrate our commitment to environmental sustainability, food safety, and youth education. Although the pandemic delayed our participation in Erasmus+ projects, it also strengthened our experience in online education and awareness-raising. We are now eager to begin our Erasmus+ journey and contribute actively through the motivation and dedication of our members.
In addition to these initiatives, our association regularly encourages volunteering, peer learning, and community engagement through workshops, awareness campaigns, and educational activities. By bringing together people from different academic and professional backgrounds, we promote cooperation, knowledge sharing, and active participation in building a more sustainable and responsible society.
