We are proud to announce that our association has joined as a partner in the newly approved Erasmus+ project titled "Promoting Youth Leadership in Forestry and Environmental Entrepreneurship" (Project Number: 2024-1-TR01-KA220-YOU-000254161).
This exciting and impactful initiative, coordinated by our partners in Turkey, is designed to empower young people to take active roles in sustainable forestry and environmental conservation. By fostering environmental entrepreneurship and leadership, the project aims to create a generation of youth who are not only aware of today’s ecological challenges but also equipped with the tools to address them innovatively and effectively.
Why This Project Matters
Climate change, biodiversity loss, and environmental degradation are among the most pressing issues of our time. Addressing these problems requires bold and creative solutions led by an informed and engaged public—especially the youth. This project responds directly to that need by:
Providing training workshops on sustainable forestry, environmental entrepreneurship, and conservation practices,
Establishing a Youth Ambassador Program to support peer learning and local engagement,
Creating opportunities for international collaboration, study visits, and networking,
Organizing hackathons that encourage creative, youth-driven solutions to environmental challenges,
Developing digital tools and educational materials to support long-term learning and action.
A Collaborative European Effort
This Erasmus+ KA220-YOU (Cooperation Partnerships in Youth) project brings together a dynamic consortium of organizations from across Europe, each contributing their unique expertise and local perspective. We are excited to be working alongside committed partners from Turkey, Latvia, Spain, Bulgaria, and Italy, who share a common vision of empowering youth to become active changemakers in the environmental sector.
Our Role and Commitment
As a partner organization, we are committed to ensuring the success of this project by:
Actively contributing to the design and implementation of training activities,
Supporting the dissemination of results to local communities and stakeholders,
Promoting youth participation in every phase of the project,
Helping to build a transnational platform for environmental entrepreneurship and leadership.
Through this project, we will continue to support youth empowerment, ecological awareness, and sustainability education within our network and beyond.
